Precision Rehab Limited agree to be the official suppliers for UPnRIDE standing wheelchair in the UK & Ireland

Precision Rehab Limited – A company with staff that have over 25 years experience in specialist powered wheelchairs are pleased to announce that they have agreed to be the exclusive supplier of UPnRIDE powered standing-wheelchairs for the UK and Ireland.

Precision Rehab Limited will supply the UPnRIDE wheelchairs on a direct sales basis and throughout the UK and Ireland, we will be looking to appoint a very limited number of authorised dealers, this will ensure a high standard of assessment, sales process, after sales care including service and repair coverage.

Matthew James the founder of Precision Rehab Limited started the company due to the lack of specialist powered wheelchairs in the market place. Matthew has worked with both the Balder and Etac range of powered wheelchairs for 22 years and following the announcement that this range of chairs would no longer be manufactured started to research the worldwide market for specialist powered wheelchairs. Precision Rehab Limited have been supplying Paravan powered wheelchairs for over 2 years in the UK & Ireland a German based manufacture. Matthew added as a company we are always looking at innovations and specialist products that will complement our existing products and benefit our clients. We have been following the progress and developments of the UPnRIDE, we are very impressed by the unique capabilities of the product especially the stability over outdoor terrain in a standing position, following productive meetings with UPnRIDE we are pleased to announce that we will be working together.

We are also pleased to announce that the UPnRIDE will be launched in the UK at Naidex on the 25th & 26th April 2018 at the NEC Birmingham.

London to Brighton Charity Bike Ride on 17th September 2017

Precision Rehab Ltd Co-Director Matthew James will be taking part in the London to Brighton bike ride to raise funds and awareness for Caudwell Children’s Charity.

Matthew has worked in the disability industry for over 24 years, he says that Caudwell Children have always done so much to help young disabled people, from funding for a powered or manual wheelchair, to a dream holiday with specialist support, care support or even simple advice. This will be the second time that Matthew will have done the London to Brighton bike ride, with the 1st time being some 25 years ago, Matthew has commented to say he would like to make this an annual event for the Charity.

Precision Rehab growth leads to full time role for Emma

Due to company growth Precision Rehab has announced that co-director Emma James has joined the company on a full time basis.
Emma will be mainly office based with focus on office management.
Matthew and Emma recently visited manufacturer Paravan GmbH to discuss future plans and meet the Paravan team.
